Fruit growing, all wrapped up.

Birds and insects can be a significant problem for fruit growers, with the potential to damage a large proportion of the crop if they're left unchecked. Traditional 'whole tree' netting can be difficult to fit and birds can get underneath and become trapped and injured in the open weave as they try to reach the fruit.

Rather than creating a battle by removing an entire valuable food-source, the easy-to-fit wraps fit securely around individual branches to allow the gardener to leave some of the fruit uncovered. This encourages beneficial wildlife to visit the plot to control slugs, aphids and other destructive garden pests. The fine-weave netting also acts as a barrier against fruit flies, eliminating the need for harmful pesticides.
